A bit about my career...

I'm not going to bore you with my life story, but I'm going to give you a quick summary.

I started my marketing career at the age of 21 as a junior writer at a boutique management consultancy agency that specialised in working with vets, dentists and opticians.

I then quickly worked my way up through the ranks and became marketing and sales director for the agency. 5 years later, my boss sold the business and I became Director and sat on the board of directors for the group which had a number of different marketing-esque type companies under its belt.

We had SEO, digital marketing, PR and copywriting. And sitting on the board gave me a really broad spectrum of how marketing works and all of its different avenues. Brilliant exposure.

I then went to work as a commercial director for a big beauty business which was technically FMCG, and then came back to my original boss and partnered with him to create an international marketing company and that's where I've been ever since.

I'm the Growth Strategy Director and we now have over 700 clients worldwide. Most importantly, I've personally specialised in working with HR consultants during this time which I absolutely love.

It all started when my friend (who's a HR consultant) said "James, you're good at marketing. Can you help me?". I quickly realised how easy it was for me to scale her business and I saw a huge opportunity to help others in the same way.
