Well. It's only gone and taken me 7 months to put together my first proper LinkedIn newsletter. I've been procrastinating HARD.
It's been at the top of my list for so long now, but my brain was holding me back.
I try to be as honest as I can when it comes to stuff like this, because I'm sure it's something you can resonate with. I'm super pleased that I've done it now. And I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it 🙂
Last month I celebrated my 30th birthday 🎈
There's always a big hype about your 30th, isn't there? I was terrified to be truthful, but it doesn't feel any different. I've been told life starts at 30, so looking forward to my next chapter.
I celebrated it in Italy with my sister and best friends. We flew into Venice, stayed there for 2 nights and then went to the STUNNING Lake Como. This was the view from our AirBNB which was also amazing. Would thoroughly recommend going if you haven't done so.
By advice would be to fly into Milan (1.40 hours), hire a car and drive up.
Whenever I come back from holiday, I have a renewed sense of focus. Which probably kickstarted me into starting this newsletter amongst other projects that I've been wanting to do.
This week, we had record temperatures. Starbucks was my home. And the summer holidays are now in full swing.

But come September, when the kids go back to school, it's time for you to start working on your consultancy again. Refreshed, motivated and hopefully after reading this newsletter, inspired! You might even set up your own newsletter like me.
You’ve got big dreams. But working ON your consultancy keeps getting pushed to the bottom of your list.

Like me, you probably want to achieve SO MUCH in your life.
You want to spend more quality time with your family… You want to enjoy life more…You want to be a better friend… You want to have a successful business…And, you want to be healthier and fitter.
What’s stopping you from doing this right now?
The answer often boils down to a lack of time and energy. And so many HR consultants I speak to are trapped selling their time for money.
You're so busy looking after the clients you have, that you don’t have any time to work ON your business and on yourself.
And month after month, you aren’t able to make any progress.
To help you win at life, I've adopted the term “Continual Personal Development” and made it my own to help you do just that…

Are you attending an event to promote your consultancy this summer? Here are my tips on how to generate as many sales as possible from an event...
Now that things are finally returning to normal, it’s great to see that events and exhibitions are back in full swing.
Attending an industry event is a good way to promote your HR consultancy - it’s essentially an ‘environment’ filled with potential clients. That said, it can also be a bit of a gamble because you never really know who is going to turn up.
Before committing to attend or exhibit at an event, it’s important to weigh up whether it’s the right one for you. Especially if you have to pay to attend.
And then you need to consider how you’re going to make it worth your time.
I've got 4 tips to help you. Read what they are here
